Where does this hose go?

can someone tell me where this hose in pictures goes to and what it's for?

it has the green-colored paint  on the hose in the 2nd pic

is it something to do with the A/C unit & what connects to or where

It would connect to the vacuum port fitting on the intake manifold. Yes, it is for the A/C.
