I found quite a few used parts for my '68 locally when I was fixing it up.  Some were salvage yard finds and others were leftovers from a restoration.   

I bought the following under $100 within the past 4 years:

Rust free driver's side front fender: $75
Rust free trunk lid: $75
Front and rear bumpers: $50pr
Front valance with signal lights: $50
2:93 sure grip with complete rear axle: $75
Factory AM radio: $20
(4) 15" Police car wheels: $60
A/C-Heat controls for dash: $20
Armrest bases and pads for front and rear: $40
Factory windshield: Free

Stuff is still out there priced reasonably, it is all just hidden very well.

Still waiting to try this out fully, but I made a poor man's data logger with an Arduino (~$15), some resistors to drop the voltage into range to count for RPM, tapping off an A/F gauge I already had, and a pressure sensor for vacuum (~$15-20).  The problem is I made a kluge out of odds and ends and will use it for tuning.  Now I need front tires to go testing in any gear other than 1st.  Those will be more than $100 each.

I bought the one heater valve seal at NAPA for $10.-

  Installed a dashcam (35.00) with install "kit" (15.00) using old school fuse "taps" (Had to buy 10ea. to get one, 10.00). Now cam comes on when car is started, has built in voltage protection that shuts off camera if battery is low and can be uninstalled leaving no trace if needed.

Did you go with the modern starter? I went with old school. Wanted that cool sound. Now I have to change it, It is not going to be easy.

Yeah, it is a mini starter. The TTI headers have a small window where the starter fits. I doubt a stock starter would even fit.

What is the paint code on your Charger? Is it R6?
