it's coming home in pieces but at least all the metal work was done correctly. i have to redo some of the finish work. the metal guy did a great shop with the new quarters and rear valance and new corners. then his asshole body guy bondoed the corners in. i saw it before any bondo and the metal corners looked great. now i want to cut the bondo out of the corners, to restore the original lines. look at pic.i was thinking of using a jewelers saw what do you guys think thanks Rene

i just had that done actually cause the same scenario, it will work, mine looks really nice.  the body guy(danny oliver, pro mender's in winthrop maine) saw it didn't have it in on one side cause somebody did the same thing and decided to hook me up.  a jewelers or even a grinding wheel on a dremel will work(that's how he did it).   he just taped it off and colored between the lines so to speak, go for it.
Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

it's roughly the width of a penny(i just took one out there) on end and about 1/64th deep on mine.  i'm sure someone can provide better info on that though but that's a rough estimate.

I've had to do this in the past on other cars. I use a cut off wheel then clean it up with 100 grit dry paper. Fold the paper in half and sand it inside the grove to smooth things out and make it look factory. Shoot some filler primer and wet sand the area with 400 and your good to go.

A knotted wire cup on a grinder makes short work of body filler and leaves the metal intact.

to cut straight lines in bondo ,i have always used a hacksaw blade first,to get the straight line,- then wrap the blade with,(dependent on seam to be cut) 80 or 180 and / or then a bondo spreader with the same ,to the desired look you wan't, then to finish off fold a piece of 320 and by hand vary carefully ,slightly round off the freshly cut edge seam in the bondo, so it looks like the  end of the original sheet metal. don't go crazy with this bit ,it  is easy to make it an incorrect shape. hope this helps
