What goes in this hole?

At one time I had plans for all the holes in the firewall.  But it's been a while.  Now I can't remember what this is for, Tach, maybe??

That is one tell-tale sign that your heater box is out of the car.

picture below is of a A/C firewall  , a standard heaterbox  had a hole in a similar but not the same location I think from memory

The 'dimple' in the first photo would have been the hole location for a car with AC.

So on an AC car, the 'dimple' would be where the hole is in the same photo.

So a mounting hole for the heater box.   Originally a non-AC car but I added a Classic Air system.  Better plug that hole before the engine goes in.   Easier.
