I have a friend up here that did a '69 Charger convert....looks real good in person.

There was one Charger in the works to be made into a convertible back in the late 60's....the convertible top was to re-create the tunnel rear window with the sail panels....the car was up here for a while, not sure where it's located not.

I have pictures of the car somewhere

Yep.. first thing I looked for! Not a bad looking car, when it comes right down to it, but why no price?  :shruggy:

It has torque boxes.

:yesnod:   you can buy almost identical repops of convertible /  hemi torque boxes now  , shame there is no close up pictures to see if it looks like factory welds or not

That car was built by Richard Sais, the original designer of the second generation Charger. If he believed that a convertible should have been built, who am I to argue with him!

DownZero

Power brakes? They sure about that?

Daytona R/T SE

I like the looks of a 68-70 Charger convertible. :2thumbs:

Pete Veight's Daytona convertible is one of my favorite cars ever.

Wingnut426

I like the 68 convertible Charger. The tail lights and bumble Bee stripe is killer. The one thing I haven't seen on any Charger convertible is the dual filler gas caps like my car has. WINGNUT
