What size wheels/tires are you using on your 3rd gen?

I want to go with 15"x10", 5.5" backspace 295/50 tire on the back of my 73 but without having one to test fit so I can be sure it will work I am reluctant to order them. The measurements come out super close. 15"x10" with 5.5" backspace will fit and probably look good with a 295/50 tire I want to use. I want the steam roller look that 10" wheels will give.

I am planning on the 15"x8" with 4.5" backspace on the front with a 245/60 tire.

I did a search and found a lot of info for 2nd gen, not much for 3rd gen.

So what are you other 3rd gen people running? Put up some pics if you have them.

BTW, I am planning on the Magnum 500 wheels from Wheel Vintiques.

I decided to order them. They should be here today or tomarow. I guess if they rub it will be on the inside. If that is the case I can get some spacer plates to shim the wheels back out if needed.

The rear tires are super close to the springs. I need to take it out in the morning and see if they are going to rub. In the front the wheel is super close to the upper control arm by the upper ball joint. I am taliking less than a 1/4" clearance.

The whole set from Summit cost me $1027.07. Not including the center caps. They wanted a ridiculous $60 each for the center caps so reused my old ones for now. This spring at Chevy Vette Fest in Chicago I ran across a guy that was selling Mopar center caps for the Magnum 500 wheels. He wanted $75 for a set of four. I need to get back in touch with him. I had the tires mounted and balanced at Summit so when they got here all I had to do was put them on the car.

the Center caps are still available from Mopar for $25 or so if I remember correctly
The wheels look great , I doubt you will have a problem in front except at maximum turn where it May rub the frame , the rear sits far higher than my car so you should be Ok there too

I am a little confused with the question? You can call Summit and order them over the phone. I liked talking to someone rather than ordering online. 1-800-230-3030 is there number.
