Solutions to fit my new fan?

I got this not cheap electrical fan some time ago.
Now when changing all the wiring in the car I was also about to install it.

And it did not fit, Im missing about 1-2cm to get it on the radiator.
I have tried to find a shorter water pump but no luck.
Im looking into getting an alu radiator but no luck yet finding one that could fit this fan. (With trans cooler.)

Any tips?

I checked some electrical ones but they were also very deep.

CCI electric cooling fans are the shallowest I've found, they are only 2 5/8" thick and will fit in places others won't.

does it need to be centered? Could you offset the fan to 1 side and have the electric motor go beside the pulleys in a free area somewhere?

I run 2 fans, offset, to clear the pump.

Its quite big, offsetting it would not work.

Yeah, seems like I have to get a new fan + radiator, will check the link from John_kunkel.

I wanted to remove that big spinning metal piece.
Not so fun when Im in there adjusting stuff with the motor running.

Electric fans chop fingers just as nasty as mechanical ones and sometimes worse.

But there are electrical ones out there with lots of protection, thin too.

Yep, thread can be closed. Have a guy coming this weekend picking up my fan.
Will buy a new alu radiator + fan kit that fits. (Two fans with space in between.)
