Had a little accident working on the 1968 Charger today and momentary let the alternator ground out the output wire.  Stupid.  Anyway, the fusible link burned up pretty fast.  While I wait for a replacement to come in the mail, should I be worried I have damaged the electrical system besides this wire?  I understand this is sacrificial to save the electrical system, but the connector got hot enough to make the terminal hard to remove.

the only wire could get a damage there is the black one between alt and bulkhead... and maybe bulkhead conectors. It worths enough check those. Maybe even ammeter terminals

Thanks Nacho, everything seems well. The fusible link did its job.
