Ok i ve gone off, done my research only to doubt everything i thought i learned..

so for my 68 i have sourced the following
a set of bendix 4 piston calipers, (via a 69 road runner i think)
the correct spindles (which are specific to the 4 piston),
splash shields (which are also specific for the 4 piston application),
rotors (via year one which im worried about NO HUB???) and
the wheel bearings

now ive assembled everything and apart from the original bearing caps not really fitting right everything seems ok and I say OK only because im assembling everything onto the crossmember together with the engine and trans which I will be bringing the body down onto to install....

so what has rocked me is, as i continue to read up i seem to get conflicting info so when i try to validate my concerns via the 68 or 68 parts catalog i dont the answers i expect to find....

Like
Are the splash shields different for the 4 piston application over other caliper type?? if so why isnt it documented better,
Are the rotors which ive sourced via year one (without a HUB) are these correct???

I guess id like to know what i an about the 4 piston setup and where it has been applied ??
does anyone have this on their vehicle ?????

Durabrake made the 67-69 rotor only to support the restoration industry.  Required reusing your old hubs.  Also need studs, no longer readily available.  Early on there was a Y1 1 piece rotor being sold as the early B but also the 70-72 version.  Kind of a generic fit type.  So not sure what they sell now.  But you either get a rotor only as the originals where two piece, or someone has remade the single piece complete rotor, like they have for the 70-72 cars (which were also 2 piece rotors originally).  67-69 B was unique to the B body, and really hard to find parts for as it was the early days of disc brakes and I do not think many were produced, compared to later B and E bodies of the 70's.  Or C bodies which used different set up.

oh sorry the rotors i have are single unit no hub required which i have heard can be a little hit and miss on occasion.....
