Why doesn't Argent Silver match my current grill-ADDED Question

I have 2 different cans of Argent Silver Paint.
They are pretty close to each other in color.
I painted one section of my grill with the Argent.
Compared it to another section with the original color.
They don't seem to be even close to the same color.
The original is more Gray.
What am I missing?

Mine was the same, I think its because the original is 50 years old and sun baked.

Should a Clear be sprayed over the part to protect the silver color paint?

The original grille paint was never quite as light-colored as some of the 'correct' paint shades being sold for the job.

I found a rattle can paint ( Duplicolor maybe ) Called bumper paint.
its a near dead ringer for the original paint one I did
