Mopars at Indy

Hey just checking to see if anyone else is going to the Mopars at Indy show June 2 - 4th. I should be towing my buddy 70 cuda drag car up for him. We will be attending for the first time this year. I believe it is the second or third year for the show. Anybody go last year?

If the weather is nice, there will be several of us from Ft. Wayne going down. I did not go last year, but I heard there was not many cars that showed up.

I've got it pencilled in on my calendar. No firm plans, but I'm going to try to work it in.

I went last year, there wasn't a good turnout but there were several factors like being unseasonably cold that w/e, and they didn't do a good job of advertising it beforehand. Should be bigger and better this year.

My wife has a class reunion that Saturday. But luckily for me it happens to be in Indy. I am dropping her off in the morning to her reunion, and heading off to the show for the day. And I will meat up with her in the afternoon. That works out great. . . . It is at IRP correct? I just wanted to make sure.

Actually, the weather was great. It was the Chrysler Classic show in the fall that was cold.

The Mopars at Indy just suffered from complete lack of publicity. At least they sent out flyers this year.

Well anybody who wants to say hi. I will be driving a 99 red dodge 1 ton with the Charger script in the back window. My Buddies 70 Cuda that I will be with is orange with black hood and says Schneider Racing on it. I am just getting a little anxious.
It has been raining and cool here for the last several weeks and it is now sunny and mid 70's. It feels good but makes me want to get out and cruise or race or something.

I was there last year. I'll be there again this year. I don't know about making it all 3 days but I'll definately be there Saturday and Sunday.

Well we made it back from Indy Sunday night. What a weekend We made ! great pass 2 foot wheelstand and 10:34. The very next pass the motor let go and windowed the block. So we loaded upi and watched the races and checked out the show and swap. Headed home sunday about 1:00 and lost a wheelbearing on the trailer about 90 miles from home. Wow what a weekend. Sorry I didn't get to meet anyone but even so we had a good time.
