Shock Absorbers for Spirited street/autocross

I am starting to look into upgrading my shocks.  I installed KYB shocks due to the cheap price when I was building the car.

My setup is almost all QA1 front suspension.  The K-frame, control arms, Adjustable strut rods, and sway bar are all QA1.  I have PST solid steering adjusters (with larger tie rods) and Borgeson steering box.  I have PST 1.03" Torsion bars that lower the front of the car as well.
The rear is a 8.75 rear hung by Hotchkis' lowering leaf springs and a 7/8" adjustable rear sway bar.

I am running a 440 with aluminum heads and aluminum water pump and housing.  727 trans.

My usage is going to be 95% or more street use, with the other 5% being autocross or the occasional blast down the drag strip.  However even when I drive on the street I enjoy what I call spirited driving when possible.  (accelerating hard through a curve, 10-50 MPH full throttle acceleration, ect.)

Now to my actual question.  Which shock would you guys recommend?   I will post link to a few of the ones I'm looking at but feel free to make other suggestions as well.  Thanks.   :2thumbs:

I could also upgrade the QA1 to adjustable, I'm just not sure I would use the adjustability?

Hotchkis has a kit with all 4 shocks as well.

If I remember right a couple people are running Fox brand shocks.  I think White and Red 69 had them on his car.   :shruggy:    Like I said, I'm not stuck on any certain brand, but from what I read there is a lot of performance lacking in these KYBs that I currently have.   Thanks for the opinions.   :2thumbs:

:yesnod:  That's the best part, you can set them to your liking. Too stiff and you can soften them up, only takes a couple clicks. I went with the Fox/Hotchkis non adjustable ones and they are fantastic. Only reason I didn't get the adjustable ones is they weren't available at the time but when it comes time to replace them I'll be getting the adjustable ones.

I think with any of the shocks that you have in the links you'll be happy. I've heard great reviews on the QA1's but I like where the adjustment knob is on the Hotchkis front shocks. Both are great products, just comes down to what you are willing to spend.

Garner, I use my car pretty much the same way, with alot of hard cornering, and I can vouch for the QA1 single adjustables.

I love em. I'm running the stock soft RT springs with big sway bars and single adjustable QA1s, and they are top notch.

I turn them each one or two clicks firmer when I autocross or want to have fun, then soften them back down for street driving. You can have the best of both worlds with them. Soft ride for the street, and solid body control for the auto cross.

I'd recommend the single adjustables. The doubles are overkill unless you only drive your car on a track and want to squeeze the entire 100% out of the chassis and taylor it for each track.

The QA1s are also rebuild able. They're quality shocks. I've ran them for two years of HARD use and they've been great.
