No votes for Purple (Plumn Crazy) ?

Plum Crazy is one of my favorites, but doesn't look right on a '68/'69, only on a '70 and up. Must be the front bumper that does it.
If it ain't broke, fix it 'till it is.

No votes from purple from me. Even if coded for purple I couldn't repaint a car pink or purple. Now, if the deal of the century rolled around I certainly would not hesitate to buy one in either color just not my top choices.

I'm partial to blue, had a difficult time deciding between B3, B5 and B7 for my car which was originally F3 green.  Having said that, If the car is solid, I would not care if it were brown, white, red or purple, I'd still be grateful to be able to own one of the best looking cars ever made  :drool5:

I agree. My red Charger was originally B3 blue but was already repainted red long before I bought it 28+ years ago now. Hard to decided which color to repaint it someday when its due, back to blue or leave red. My 70 Challenger is B5 blue.

This thread went from whats your favorite color to f8 green is distasteful. Lets see your car. For all we know you are a 12 year old on the internet. That would help us decide your qualifications on charger tastfulness.

Lol...why not get who ever read it for you to read it again...I clearly said distasteful "to MY eyes" and also that if it's a Charger who cares what colour it is. I also hate coffee and tea....that does not mean either is bad....just not to my taste. I'm 52 in a couple of weeks time (not 12...wish I was though!) and you will see my Ford Blue 69 soon enough ......and I guarantee lots on here will not like it at all and think I have no taste....even with stock body panels......and I couldn't care less.
If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you !!

yeah love the look of a 70  in plum crazy !!  but your right on a 68/69 don't look right  to me IMO  .... maybe is a psychological type thing that I know it was not a factory color option  on 68/69 chargers  :yesnod: , having just said that ,  IMO  GY3 looks awesome  on a 69 charger ! but  yet that was not a factory option  :shruggy:  ... maybe growing up ! as a kid  watching DMCL on tv , brain washed me at a early age , same for slots too  :drool5:

No hater here. I love the 70-ish Ford Boss blue and their 70-ish grabber orange.  YOUR CAR, YOUR WAY.

I suppose it depends on the specific case.....

I used to not like green cars but over the years they have grown on me. Especially in the F8. I have owned 4 green cars now. A fifth that was lime green originally but in primer when I bought it. My Brother In law owns a triple green 69' Chevelle that looks awesome in green.

I may be biased.
But I think 1968  EE1 is near the top for me.

I know a guy in Jersey with a A4 silver 1969 500 that has blue interior that surely would be a close 2nd
I also really like a 1970 in Burnt orange
