2nd Gen Rear Upper Pad Installation

I started installing my rear upper pads, but ran into a situation that I am not sure if I am missing something or not. I have the old pads and you can see where the screw goes through the pad, but where the screw is suppose to tighten down to the inner body, there is a large slot. I am wondering if there is to be a clip of some type that the screw is suppose to tighten down to? (attached are pictures of what I am talking about).

Does some one know or even have a picture? Or where can I find this clip if there is a clip?

There is an oval shaped white plastic plug that goes in the hole
It has some thickness to it to get the pad at the right height
