core support straightening ideas

Any tips/tricks on how I can try to straighten my core support on my 66 Coronet?
Looks like someone put a hook on the bottom middle to try and pull the car.
Of course that bent it forward and ripped the bracket from the K member.
(then they tried to do the same thing with the bumper and f'd it up).

I tried bending/pushing by hand but it bounces back.
Id rather not have to take everything apart...just want to get it back in the vicinity so i can fix the hood latch.

Clamp you a board across it, with a few clamps in the middle area, and slowly and evenly tighten the clamps little by little.  You might have to hammer a few areas, but time and patience will get it

I did the 2x4, clamps, hammer & dolly fix on a car years ago, it came out near perfect.

The prior owner had hit an animal & bent it in.
