The car was presented to Clemente for winning the title of 1971 World Series MVP.

They couldn't have given him a nice hi-po '71 instead?

by October of '71, 1971 model year cars were "old news" last years cars (& Chrysler wouldn't have promoted last years cars)

A Rallye Package would have been cooler, but still a nice car.
Good color combo.
I've never owned anything but a MoPar. Can you say that?

Very nice Charger and in my color combo on my 69 Charger.

So in that video I noticed the engine paint color which looks like the typical rattle can color. I'm restoring my 72 and have my engine painted corporate blue by my pro body man. Now as I understand it, corporate blue is essentially tb3 or petty blue correct? Which is a loud in your face blue. So the paint on Clemente's motor is not factory correct appearing. Am I right?
