Hi Guys,

We did the tear down of my 68 Charger a while ago. I finally got around to make the video of it. All the metal work should start within the next couple of weeks and after that it is off to paint!

Hope you guys enjoy it:

Anyone have any advise on beefing up the stock suspension vs. QA1 vs. Hotchkiss? I was informed that Hotchkis is mainly more money for the brand name. Im curious to what everyone here runs to be able to stick these cars into corners.

Thanks you!

Its a long road and a sometimes frustrating one but it will all be worth it in the end.

I can't believe how well my car handles now.  '69 R/T, and I rebuilt with rubber bushings and new ball joints.  Firm Feel upper control arms with +4° additional caster (actual unknown, adjusted for max possible), -1/8° camber, 1/16" toe in, polyurethane strut rod bushings with 1/4" shaved off the rear bushing so it doesn't push the lower control arm back, larger C-Body tie rods, 1.04" torsion bars, Firm Feel 1-1/8" front sway bar on '70 style K-frame and control arms, QA1 single adjustable shocks, original rear leaf springs, junk yard cop car steering box, Goodrich Radial TA tires 245/60-15 on 15X7 and 275/60-15 on 15X8.  I have the Firm Feel rear bar to install still.  I haven't pushed the car hard enough to know if I need it.  Plan to have Firm Feel rebuild a steering box and adjust bump steer when I install it.  I don't feel any now.  For brakes, stock Mopar 11.75" power discs from mid-70's and original drums in back.
