There won't be a consensus on questions like this.  At best we might agree on some things to rule out.

That is pretty cool.   :2thumbs:    I doubt I will ever buy any of them, at $240 each, but it is a quality built muffler and very interesting.

Standard Hemi Muffler.

:iagree: Anything else is just noise.
If it's too loud,  you're too old.  :nana:

Agreed!, the Hemi muffler is for trailer queens,....I run Stainless Works Chambered tube on a factory H pipe and full 2.5 factory system with tips on my 70 Daytona 440/6, just HP manifolds, H pipe, Chambered Tubes, and pipe/tips.....nice sweet sound, no backfire or rumble on forced high RPM downshifts, about the best sounding exhaust at idle or under throttle IMHO, no drone either at cruise....

I put them right after the H pipe crossover, low profile case approx 3-3 1/2" in diameter

Yeah it's a Mustang but at least you get to hear the difference between stock vs SS works Chambered mufflers and H pipe....  https://youtu.be/9ohdptUARnA

Huh, those are pretty cool. Maybe I'll upgrade the exhaust in my clone to those in a couple years. For now I have the ones(Thrush) that came with the car.

I have always liked the Flowmaster sound. As long as the car has some compression & camshaft they sound great. If it is a stock ole pick up truck they sounds more like cherry bombs.

I have headers with a home built 3-1/2" X pipe exhaust that I made using elbows & straight pipe to the mufflers, reduced down to 3" after the mufflers up over the axle to the rear with the modified stock tips. I get compliments all of the time of how good it sounds & how stock everything looks. They always ask me who did the exhaust, then I say me....

I have the same setup but with h-pipe.  I have found that the x-pipe creates a higher pitched tone IMO, where as a h-pipe keeps the tone lower.
