Geez. Well, at least that one wasn't a rust bucket when they got it. Yet another reason to kick myself...

:shruggy:  Is it one off his car?
One I looked at to buy but since I'm not the expert on 69s I waited a few hours to get more info and it was gone.

I see they kept the tach for themselves.

It does look like a solid car for a change. I wonder why they make mention of the build date? It is not really that early.

The asking price was $8500 but I know he was flexible on the price. I doubt if it would have taken more than a couple of weeks to get on the road since it already ran and drove even though the body was mostly disassembled. I'll have to call him to see who he actually sold it to. My impression was that it was someone local. If that's the case then it either went to a flipper or HLPAG has someone in Ohio buying cars for them.

Wow I called on that car the first day it came out in the paper in Ohio, I'm from Michigan but was travelling through Ohio on the way to kentucky and just happened to find it. It was way out of the way to go look at it though so I didn't follow up. I guess I can kick myself now.

I can't get photobucket at work. Was it a GL when they got it? I'm just wondering about this quote: "THIS IS PROBABLY ONE OF THE CLEANEST ORIGINAL BODY GENERAL LEE'S WE HAVE EVER DONE!" BTW, I'm sure it is one of their cleanest since they almost always buy Charger-shaped rust.
