Very nice...I'd always wanted to do something with the rear center vent in the console...came out great with the bottom hinge.

Speaking of consoles and hinges...is the center console hinge supposed to lock in place to hold the door upright?!

All these years I have owned my Charger it just flops back down...typically requires a strategically positioned elbow to keep it open.  I've never really kept tabs on it, just assumed all console lids were like that.  I think my only other experience was in a buddy's 69 Superbee and his was the same way.  I'm extremely interested now to know how it is supposed to be...If it is just an "open and hold it up design" his is much improved.  If that is the factory design it will be one of those "oooh" moments, lol...sort of like realizing there were rear carpet sill plates.

Ooooh, lol.  So glad to know that is how they are designed.  If I keep the console and don't make my own, I will definitely pop for the new spring!
