I am going to run polished aluminum slots on mine, with satin black paint.
I think it is a time tested great classic look.

You are building a 69 right? Here is my 69, it has the 15x7 American racing vectors, with 235/60r15 on all four corners.

And a thread i found with others in it.

Dang Luke that was a long time ago! I remember fixing and painting that car. The flat black was supposed to be temporary. I was about to move here from Belgium so I arranged for my buddy to respray it B5 once CB had the funds and time but I think he sold the car before that happened. There is/was a build thread on this car at one point.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

American Racing Salt Flats like these, but paint the grey face a magnesium flat gold color to mimic a 60s drag racer vibe.

Or if you want 15s, the Rocket Racing Injector wheel.

Or if you want to do the traditional route, steel wheels and dog dishes would look tough.

I tried to get a set of Rocket Racing wheels for my 70 Mach 1 and they won't clear even the stock disc brakes. Bummer. I really like them.

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

No, but close. I did think about going with the 01 on the sides and top but passed. Wonder if that car was an original sun roof car or not. I do like it.  :scratchchin:

Black wheels on the black Chally was spot on!
I would go with a period aluminum myself on a flat-black Charger.

What size are those steel wheels. And what size tires
I see most are running the wheel opening trim. I've debated going that route.
