my 21 year old snap on tool box has a drawer with a slide cover on it. over the years I have pulled that draw open to either do paper work on it or use it as a small work bench for small items or to put tools on. The paint was failing on it so I asked my son a body man to repaint it for me. I gave it to him a few weeks ago and the paint code off the back of the back of the black box. Him and his co worker had another idea they painted it like my 68's trunk.

This is my box with the drawer pulled out a bit and my 1/4" set on the drawer.


This is it painted like my trunk. Now I just have to pull the drawer out to put it back on the top of it. getting it out was a pain but I didn't have to worry about scratching it. Now I do have to worry while installing it. With the drawer closed the box will look like it always did. With it out a reminder of my car.


got the drawer installed back on the box. I think it is very cool.

I looked it up- it was a 2015, released in July 2017 known as "Like You Stole It", and all 210 cases are sold out.

Red gets better with age, maybe keep it and it would equal a 69 R/T SE Hemi 4 speed in B5 Blue someday.
