Early build R/T radiators?
My friend has this style 'round top' radiator in his 68 R/T.

IS THIS RIGHT???

Yes, the 045 radiator is correct for that car. The 22" radiators had the round top and the 26" were square. 383/440 cars with automatics and standard cooling got the 045 radiator in '68...

Thanks for the heads-up 68R/T.

I see the bigger picture now! :scratchchin:

I've posted this a couple of times here before, but something like this would make a PERFECT tube frame track car/vintage NASCAR replica candidate...

A modern stock car chassis with a charger body would be my dream car for track days. This 68 would make a great donor. Especially since the consensus of the thread seems to be the car is scrap, anyways.

I have the option of doing something like that, but figuring up the cost, it'd cost just as much to rebuild my stock body as it would to skin a chassis as one.

QuoteYet another Charger that needs a new Dynacorn unibody, not a bunch of patch panels.

that would be great if DYNACORN would get off their A$$ and build those in 68, 69 Charger bodys!!

For a handful of potential buyers? Why would they do that if they can invest in products that will actually sell like Chevies and Fords? It's a nice idea to be able to transform your rusty Charger but I doubt to see much of the regular folk reaching for their wallets. Let's hope I'm wrong.
