We were out tonight and spotted a '68 Chrysler New Port on the side of the road with a for sale sign in the window. It's a black, four door sedan with a 440 and automatic transmission. It was sold brand new locally at a dodge dealership I have been to many times. I even got to see the owners private stash of Mopars kept in the basement! Anywho, their is only one spot of surface rust visable on the passenger side fender other than that it looks great. The interior also appears to be in immaculate condition. It also supposedly only has 18,000 original miles which I tend to believe seeing the condition it is in. Sorry I don't have any pics but I didn't have a camera with me. The asking price is $4k obo. I was wondering what you all thought it would be worth? I am really seriously considering buying this car so all the help is much appreciated! Thanks guys  !

4k sounds a little high for a 4 door C body.... but, if it's as clean as you say....  Try making an offer of 3500, and go from there.
Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.  Especially if they have access to the internet.

if it's as clean as ya say and has 18K miles, i wouldn't complain... but offer em 3.2 Cash,.. then see how it goes...  :yesnod: or   :rotz:

that would be a killer road trip car,and you can bring all of your friends!! but i like the c bodies so my opinion may be biased! these days 4 grand doesnt usually get you much, unless its a 4 door slant six dart or something like that
