Easier to say two syllables than three for the dimwits. :pity:

My Road Runner gets called Charger more than you would think, even someone looking at the logo will say "I did not know that Road Runner made a Charger back in the 60s".  Wow.

You can go this route:

People are idiots. They live their lives operating their minds on cruise control instead of thinking their way through the day.

Fred

You can say that again. They may as well have been born without a brain. They sure don't use them as intended. Are they just to lazy to think? Or does it hurt too much!
How do they manage to get through life?
Beats me.

Tomorrow is promised to no one.......drive your Charger today.

I did that at a car show once just to get some laughs. Redding CA 2008. They have a big festival every year, "Kool April Nights."
I was walking the show car field with the wife. As usual, there was a crowd of people walking around. I saw an orange 71 Charger and said..."THis is a really nice Mustang."
It was great. Everyone walking nearby stopped walking and looked at me as if I was naked doing Jumping Jacks. Most had a WTF expression. I laughed and laughed and MOST got the joke.
It is a lot of fun being annoying.

Same here. I've had my car for almost 20 years and my father in law still calls it a Challenger  :brickwall:

Fred

Mine gets called a Charger. They don't know what year it is but they know it's a Charger.

Are there many Challengers in Australia? If not, that works to your advantage.

Fred

I would guess there are slightly more Challengers than Chargers in the country but I think it's a pretty close call.

I doubt that would happen over here....mainly because I've never seen an old style Challenger on the road in the UK .....so nothing to confuse a Charger with!

It's a combo of ignorance. Dodge screwing the pooch and making the Charger a 4 door and the average clown who wants to tell you all about the 318 HEMI 6 pac that their inbred cousin had in his 1965 Charger SS.
