Well,  Its nearing completion and about to head home.  Customer/Owner is picking it up Friday Oct 7th.

This project has taken Far Far Far to long ( for a multitude of reasons , but thats a story for another day )

All I need to do is finish up a few things on the interior. I'll jack it up and go over the suspension underneath to make sure everything is tightened like its supposed to be .

Its an original EE1 dark blue car, with black interior. Original 440 4spd 3.54 Dana. manual drum brakes and steering.
Owner bought it as a rusty project that someone else had pretty much stripped it as a parts car.  In all honesty it probably shouldn't  have been saved, it was that bad . ALL the original drive train was gone , it was a roller with an 8.3/4 under  it . And I think about half of it  came from AMD . There's no build sheet or fender tag. So he built what HE wanted.

After much prodding he decided to paint it back its original EE1 dark blue metallic color. ( QQ1 medium blue almost won out !! )
Interior was changed to white and we added power disc brakes.  And to replace the missing 3.54s   a 4.10 Dana slid in its place instead.
Engine is not stock. The engine builder estimates its closer to 550 Horse. Hemi 4spd trans is in there, The aforementioned 4.10.  Stock exhaust ( at least for now ) Although headers may be in its future somewhere down the road. Depending on how it runs as is.  Frame has been tied with welded in sub-frame connectors using 2 x 3" box tubing .

Its obviously NOT a date code restoration. ( that was never his intention from the word go. ) But something that looks reasonably close to stock to the casual onlooker. His goal was  killer looks,  dependable/comfortable to drive reasonable distances  and A LOT OF FUN to drive  on pump gas. He says at some point aftermarket AC might find its way on it sometime  down the road.

Beautiful!  I love EE1 cars, don't see many of them at all.  Really pops with the white interior.

Yeah that's a stunning combo, and it sounds like a hell of a fun car to drive. Nice work man!   :2thumbs:
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.
