Just when I think I have the bugs worked out an old one resurfaces...I had a chrome 100 amp alt on the general and it quit charging, put my Oreilly's cheapy spare on and it worked fine last summer, ok same problem this year now I throw old faithful back on now the Oreillys cheapy is doing the same thing. I charged the battery went and drove around for 45 min with park lamps on, parked it shut him down, went to start him back up and click!! What the heck is going on could it be the voltage regulator?

Is it still a 69 charging system or have you upgraded it?
