It might seem untimely to mention this, but for those who traditionally attend this swap meet, I just learned that the date has been moved up to December 10 of this year  :o  and the location has been changed back to the  Macomb Community College.  It is a ways off but for anyone thinking they don't have to worry about the date until January, well, now you know.

Back when I lived in Ohio I always wanted to go to this meet but never pursued doing so. Having it on Dec. 10 will probably favor better driving conditions vs having it at the end of January.

Is it a good meet to swap at?

There is usually always something interesting there.  Decent enough size especially for it being all Mopar.  I always liked it because when it was end of January it made for a nice break from mid winter car withdrawal.  With it being right before Christmas I may end up spending less than I normally would.

I don't remember it at any tech center, past few years was at Gibralter trade center in Mt. Clemens & before that it was at Macomb Community College at 12 mile & Hayes in Warren. Or am I thinking of a different swap meet?  :shruggy: :scratchchin: LEON.

Sorry Leon, yes you are correct, at the college.  The college is near the GM Tech Center and that was where I mis-spoke.  Too used to using that as a landmark, my bad.  I edited the original post.

I pretty much only go when I need something, but it's fun way to spend my Sunday morning for sure! You probably won't find a steal here, but there's always some nice rarities to be found. It's a good time to buy a bunch of new stuff and get a sweet discount though!

Thanks for the heads up, and welcome back Shawn!

Always a good meet.  It may interfere with Holiday plans, though, if you are a vendor and set up all day.
They will have to do a good amount of PR to get the word out.

I know a guy that found an original Bird jack and handle last year.  It was in a bag and the seller put it out on his table around 1 pm!   It went to a good home.
I've never owned anything but a MoPar. Can you say that?
