Headers?

1973 charger 318 engine. I want a set of headers but want to try and stay under $250 . Are the short headers any good. Want easy to install also. Any help is apprec.

The 73 has a very large steering coupler, so I would contact some place like Mancini and see what they recommend. The coupler has a large rubber piece called the biscuit and you want that to get hot and break, it would make steering the car a bit difficult. What ever you go with, make sure to either get coated headers or put wrap on them to keep the heat doen.

My 73 340 has headman elite, but I replaced the stock steering coupler with a flaming river coupler that gives me more room.

What about the hugger Headers? Wouldn't they clear
