Shoot...i love 70s tunes, so this would take me forever. My taste varies from metal to prog to punk to glam to hard rock to disco to yacht rock.

Me too...but what the hell is yacht rock!? To be honest I was a young teenager in the late 70s......but even at the time I thought most of the music in the charts was crap. Then punk came......oh yeah. Proper music that killed the rubbish disco ,  two tone and motown that had dominated the UK charts until then. Anarchy in the UK........!
If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you !!

ACUDANUT

1970's lite rock on Pandora.  Can't beat that. That's all I listen to. :2thumbs:

Anything featuring John "Hammond Lord" Lord like the intro to Lazy from Machine Head:

The kind of song youd listen to in a yacht.

Basically soft rock. Christopher Cross, Leo Sayer...

SiriusXM has a channel devoted to it.

Been rockin out to 'Dog Eat Dog' a lot lately. The song as a whole is "heh" at best but that guitar fill/solo that Angus keeps playing throughout is pure genius.

Can't beat the 70's AC/DC, Deep Purple, Led Zep, BÖC, Black Sabbath Pink Floyd & Tangerine Dream.
Most of my favorite bands had/have 'colorful' names.
Best 70's rock & roll screaming = Ian Gillian in Space Truckin'

Just a bit off topic next

Best scream EVER (1969,UMMAGUMMA, prelude to 70's) = Roger Waters in Careful With That Axe Eugene

Remember how them old 70s cars used to smell when they were new? And how that fog would come out of the A/C ducts on a hot day?

That somehow seems to be attached to this memory, of this song...Baker Street, by Garry Rafferty.

Somehow, the 70s did have its own wierd sort of class, I suppose, even if it did have that slick polyester feel to it.

But it definitely wasnt stuffy, and didnt feel old.
