Geez, I haven't checked back on this thread in far too long. Your car turned out looking great, Mike!
That was pretty neat of your wife to do that for you, too.

I'm hoping I haven't missed more pics you may have posted elsewhere, how's it looking now?

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Hi Grant. I have to say that the wife has been very supportive and has put up with allot - I'm truly blessed! The Charger is almost there. Just picked up a list of stuff (see the Carlisle picture post) that will really finish the car. I just have to trailer the Charger to the engine builder who is going to break in the cam/engine for me. Then the Charger will be 90% complete. As I always say there is that 10% or more, room for improvement. Once I get a few more things done, I'll take more photos of her.

Mike,

I am getting close to finishing the metal work on my 68 MM1. Yours is looking great. Any new pictures? What brand of paint did you go with?

Hi Kevin! I have not taken pictures of my Charger lately but the link below is the latest photo's I have of her. Your Charger looks like is coming along real nice.  :2thumbs: Nice to see another MM1 colored Charger coming back to it's youth. My body guy used the Dupont Chromacolor base coat/clear coat(I believe is the name) I can give you the exact name once I get home from work. I have the can of paint at home with the correct code. If you can wait til tomorrow, I'll post it for ya. Take many pictures of your project and keep us posted on your progress.

Mike,

No rush. Still lots to do before I can buy paint. Nice pics in the latest update. I missed that one.

My visible progress has been slow the last 6 months. Cooler weather should help motivation.

Thanks....Kevin

Here the picture of the Dupont paint can. Just tell them the year of the Charger and the original paint code (MM-1) and they will get you the right paint. I've heard that Dupont is a pretty good auto paint. The metallic flaking when the sun hits the paint on my Charger, it's simply awesome! Keep us posted. If you need additional info let me know.

Thanks for the info.  I was debating going with the Dupont or PPG. Not sure at this point. Haven't price compared them yet. The Dupont dealer is closer. I will keep you guys posted on progress.
