Does anyone know of the exact 'paint code' for the '69-on engine street hemi orange? And, was the color that was applied to a '69 Charger R/T and a '70 Challenger T/A the same? ( In theory of course )....

"Hemi Orange" engine paint and body paint were different shades.  (Like they were obviously & intentionally different.  Not just some accidental slight variation that restorers get anal about.)

Chevy's classic "Hugger Orange" is between the two shades on the red/yellow range.  Mopar's HO engine paint was more yellow than that.  HO body paint was more red.

Orange is a bitch to judge by photographs but this kind of shows it.
Look at the far side (driver side) valvecover, compared to the shock tower visible behind it.  The body color is redder and darker.
