Pulled all freeze plugs from my 383 motor and douched it with a garden hose.  what ideas do you all have to neutralize the interior coolant area of the motor to inhibit future rust and metal chunks?  I've been told to put vinegar in it and let that sit for a little.

flush the block out with water, then install freeze plugs, get a gallon of evapo rust & fill cooling system, get a Gano auto coolant screen to keep the rust flacks from plugging up the radiator, run car without a thermostat, let sit over night , run again, drain & flush, keep the Gano screen in the upper hose & clean out ever so often.
