Hello all.

I am leaking oil from my car. Charger owner lol. I have a 71 charger with a 383 that is sitting at my dads house and I am leaking oil. I haven't gone out to check which oil it is yet. But I am thinking it's coming from the trans. Anyways. I was wondering what oil everyone use for trans and engine so I can treat my charger right. Thanks for all your help.

certainly you don't think its the oils fault that it is leaking, right?

Haha not at all. But I am going to change all the fluids looking for the leak and if the leak continues I will have more to add if it ever gets low. Don't want to add a bunch of different types of oil in the car at once.

+1 on the Brad Penn. (Highest/best zinc levels and processing?)

I run AMSOIL in everything I own and have no complaints. In the Charger, with the 80,000 mile engine that is in it now, I just dropped in Castrol High Mileage since I am only going to run it a short time then switching to the high zinc AMSOIL in it as well.

My car engine seems to like Brad Penn oil.
