Not condoning or condemning, but are we going to be talking about this one in five years time when its for sale for $500,000?

Perhaps.....perhaps?   :smilielol:

Isn't every pro-touring car done by places like that a money pit?

I mean you end up paying out 300,000+ for what?  1968 Charger?

Can buy a Mclaren super car for that... why the hell would you want an old out-dated vehicle with severe design flaws for that money?

Surely that is the whole point of a pro tourer type build......to iron out those design faults and re-engineer the week points to end up with the classic Charger look with modern performance and dynamics. Why bother otherwise?
At least that's my direction.....a beautiful car ....completely standard shell (apart from big hole in bonnet!!)....but with a modern wheel/tyre combo and suspension to match (keeping leafs though) to make it handle more like a Euro car that I'm used to and less like an ocean liner!...modern seats but stock door panels and dash. No modern lump for me though ....gotta be 440.....! So my look is pro tourer with Euro twist but with a good nod to the good old days in the form of a 8-71 and "real" flames paint
If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you !!

I can almost appreciate that they didn't completely hack the body up like some other shops did ( shortening or widening ).

What they did was try to modify the chassis, etc so it could be lowered.   That required some modification to the front and rear valances to tuck things in.

But I'm not real sure about the giant trans tunnel.     Hiding it under a 1st gen ish custom full length console is one way I guess.   :Twocents:
