I was just reading in the Dec Mopar Action that adjustable pushrods are frowned upon because of a short life. Is that the general consensus because my  72 440 has them  with the  Crane 1-6 rockers. I am finally redoing the car so it will be a while before this is an issue. :shruggy:

I do not like them. Measure once, then twice, then a 3rd time and finally, order the correct pushrods the 1st time for your car.

I ran them for years with OE rockers and then the HD stamped rockers.
Never had any problem with them.

If you could still get the HD stamped rockers I would still use them in certain builds.

You say you have Crane 1.6 rockers, which should be adjustable..... No?

I can't see any reason to have both adjustable rockers and adjustable pushrods.

Please disregard, till I find the papers on that motor. I was thinking that  the person I bought it from said it had adjustable push rods  but I need to be sure  first. I am not an engine person as you might have guessed.
