Just got a call from the surgeon and the word is GOOD!

So the procedure went very well.

I contribute a ton of that to you guys and most definitely the big man upstairs.

She'll be spending at least tonight in ICU on a ventilator so her lungs have a chance to recover from the anesthetic, but hopefully she'll be talkin' to us tomorrow.

Call me superstitious, but I got the call from the surgeon not 30 mins after my "70 Charger returned home.

Not only are our Chargers cool, they've got healing powers! :2thumbs:

Thanks again for all of your support, guys!

My mom wanted to make sure that I told you all that.  :icon_smile_big:

Seems like the recovery process is still going well.

As the doc said though, with this type of surgery/infection there is the potential for becoming more ill in the days following procedure, but it's only a temporary thing.

They're just keeping her mildly sedated to ease the discomfort the respirator brings, but otherwise she's hangin' in there.
