Hey all. I havent been on the cglfc site in a while, I know it went through a rough patch in 2014 but I thought it was back up and running. I know I have been on it since then and it worked. Does any one know the status of it now? I tried to get on it today but nothing would load up. I hope it hasnt gone under. Lots of good info lost if so. (also if this is in the wrong section let me know and ill move it) :2thumbs:

Yes sadly cglfc.com has closed its doors. For the last 5 years or so it has been a ghost town. Maybe 40 new threads have been made during that time. A lot of the guys on here and I are trying to persuade the moderators to open up a section specifically for movie cars. (General Lee, Bullit, Dirty Mary Crazy Larry, Fast and Furious, etc.) Myself and many others could benefit from that. I'm in the process of building a general lee and I need information that was lost on that site.

I tried for years to become a member on cglfc. I never could get anyone to accept. I don't know what the deal was because I haven't done anything to piss someone off. I guess the moderators completely stopped adding new members.  :shruggy:  It was still nice to look through the site and read so much good history and see the pictures of people's general lees though.

Yes, I know I have too many cars. My wife reminds me daily.

Is there anything a lowly member like myself can do to help get a movie car section? Being of the DOH generation, that show started my love of Chargers, and Mopar.

I joined CGLFC around 2004, I hated to see it go. But with nothing going on in the DOH world ( other than getting pulled from the air over the stupid flag controversy) it had become a ghost town.

Read this thread. Troy wants us to find movie car related threads and post the links on that thread or send him a PM. If everybody helps out we can get a lot of threads found really fast. Just a suggestion. I know a movie car discussion board would be really nice to have!!  :2thumbs:
