If you bought a power steering pump for your Charger...........

Question for everyone. I recently had a wanted ad for a power steering pump. A member responded that he had one. I requested pics. I need a complete one and the seller sent me pics. They were of a complete one. Brackets,pulley and all. I never even gave it any thought and said I would take it. Fast forward to today it comes in the mail and it's just a bare pump and reservoir.

Am I wrong to think of this as a bait and switch?

I'm thinking first course of action would be a PM and asking where the "accessories" are, that was shown in the pictures. Sounds like communication breakdown if nothing else, maybe he thought you only wanted the pump?

That may be. But he seems unwilling to work it out. I would be happy with just the pulley and the pulley retainer.

Anyway glad you got it worked out...but I'd give seller benefit of doubt on this one.  You wanted to buy a pump...and you received a pump.

I have tons of parts and sold a lot.....I have never had anyone ask for just the brackets or just the pump only...Furthermore, I would only sell it as one unit anyways...I have enough stuff to label and to put in storage....

If the seller didn't plan on including any brackets & such then he should have stated that.
