To my amateur eyes, it looks legit.

Didn't that car go through one of the auctions within the past year or so?

it was forsale  a while ago too , forget which site , there is a thread about it  too on here somewhere  :yesnod: :scratchchin:  I also believe  there are two of these   69 F6  J codes with similar options , color combos   ,  don't quote me on this though , could be getting mixed  up with something else .

finally get to see the fender tag too ,

1 of 1 out of Hamtrack, how many came out of St. Louis? Listing states 8 3/4 when it has a Dana 60 in it. Be nice if it had a broadcast sheet, to see if it was a J55 car as it's COMPLETLY undercoated, no hood pad. Nice looking car !  :2thumbs:

there are 2 known F6 HEMI Charger R/Ts - this one and a 4-speed version

same owner in Indiana I believe, probably there on consignment (unless the dealer purchased it)?

Maybe it's my monitor, but the F6 doesn't quite look like the right shade. Does it look right to you guys?

Cool car, I'd love to have it.

Forgive me if I'm wrong but shouldn't the entire vin be stamped on the block? I have the original 383 for my 69 and it has the entire vin on it....

birdsandbees

Interesting. My '69 Bee engine has the same style stamping on it as does my A833 trans (just the year and 6 digits of VIN) Meanwhile a '69 Plymouth RRunner A833 that I have has the full dash VIN stamped in it. Guess Dodge was a bit lazier on stampings!

As lazy as he was with the engine spray paint.

bigdsul

From following a couple threads on here regarding dealership chargers I'd be a little leary of this car just for being at a dealership

"Early" 69s got the full VIN.
"Late" got a partial VIN.
Seeking information on '69 St. Louis plant VINs, SPDs and VONs. Buld sheets and tag pictures appreciated. Over 3,000 on file thanks to people like you.

birdsandbees

I'm sure they had more than one font stamp, but that said all the 4's on my stampings are closed at the top. My 383 magnum, A833 and my spare A833 out of a Road Runner.

Edited to remove pictures.. realized probably not the best to help the deceptors.

BTW my Bee was mfg in Feb of '69, wouldn't think that was a "late" mfg date.

the change from full VIN to partial VIN occurred during the month of Jan. '69

What do you think of the chrome rear end cover.

What's to think; it's a chrome rear end cover.  ;)
