Which air cleaner housing are you running with FAST EZ-EFI

Wondering what you are using on your cars? I have a 68 Charger, stock hood, 440, mopar M1 dual plane - looks same as edelbrock performer rpm, and the fast ez efi. Trying to find an air cleaner that fits. I tried a flat base one from Summit and they are not exactly what I would call flat base, it hits the hood, so no go on that one. Gonna try a 1 inch drop base next with a 3/4 spacer to see what that does.

So I took a gamble and ordered a flat base 14" x 3" black air cleaner from Summit. Did not work, sat way to high. Returned that and ordered a 14" drop base black air cleaner with a 3/4 spacer. It works and the hood will shut without the wing nut installed, way to close for comfort. I think I will try getting a 2" filter for the air cleaner, that should drop it down quite a bit. Worried about the airflow being compromised though with such a short filter and the drop base. I may install one of the air cleaner tops that is also a filter, but then wont be able to have any decal or stuff like that. Oh well I guess, gotta compromise somewhere  :icon_smile_big:

I have the Holley drop base kit with a 3/4" spacer and run a 2" filter on the FITech EFI and have never had an issue. It was tight and we had to bang out the base a little to get it to fit around the fuel lines but it works great!

Cool, glad to hear. Thanks.
