Mixed console top pieces?

In my '68 Charger, the front console piece is woodgrain, while the back part/lid is the ribbed metal. Is this factory, or did someone switch it up here? I thought that you could either have woodgrain or the ribbed metal, but not a mixture of both.

68's had the ribbed chrome pieces with silver painted sides.

69's started with the woodgrain with black painted sides

Thanks man. So I guess someone put the '69 top piece on there at some point in it's life. Kind of interesting I guess.
