Valve covers and vacuum lines

Okay so I FINALLY got my 71 Charger with a 318 up and running. Took it out to a few cruise nights with awesome reception from the other classic car owners. Anyway I have a set of mopar performance valve covers that I'd like to install sooner than later. Doing the valve covers isn't the problem. The problem comes with what to do with the exsisting vacuum lines for the PCV Valve on the driver side and breather on the passenger side.

I suppose I could drill holes to accept both vacuum lines but I wanted to ask what others have done before drilling any new holes in my new covers.

So for the breather there should be a half turn type breather you can use that goes in like an oil cap.

For the PCV I think probably best to make a hole and add the grommet.

They look like this right?

here is breather

There are gromets that are made to fit into the 1/2 turn openings, and I believe there may also be 1/2 turn PCV options.

I used a 1/2 turn breather and then a grommet.  (I second the recommendation of baffles by c00nhunterjoe).
Who in their right mind would say

"The science should not stand in the way of this."?

Science is just observation and hypothesis.  Policy stands in the way.........

Or maybe it protects us.

I suppose it depends on the specific case.....

Thanks guys. I'll look for the 1/2 turn breather and drill for the pcv valve. Now who knows where to get baffles? I can't seem to find anything on summit, jegs, mopar parts.

When I bought my valve covers the baffles came with them......

They do come with baffles installed, but they don't come with a spare set to install if you use the knockouts.

Here are just the baffles: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/dcc-5007052
