What headers would fit a 440 in a 1966 charger ? Reasonable price is big plus. Its a 77  stock r v motor trying to wake this slug up a little bit. Thanks

A 77 RV Motorhome 440 is NOT a performer whatsoever, in fact... they are notoriously complete dawgs.
just say'in....
I don;t think Headers will do much if anything at all.
Only wimps wear Bowties !

AGREE  total slug , but rebuild is in future. Want to start getting parts to help out that can be reused on the future non slug motor.

I got rid of my headers. Pain in the neck and just not worth it, at least not on a street car. Just get some HP manifolds and reuse them after the rebuild. If you are set n headers then I couldn't tell you which ones would fit best because it's a relative term. They usually don't fit all that great to begin with. TTI's and Doug's get the biggest endorsement on this site but they're pricey. There have been some recent threads here that talk about decent fitting headers for a lower budget. I'd still go with a nice set of HP's though.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

The 100 dollar 1 3/4 hedmans fit my 383 like a glove, no dimples, no clearance issues on an automatic with power steering. Ive heard others claim they are junk and hit everything. Ive heard people say tti's are the perfect fit and others claim they had to take a hammer to them..... bottom line, pick what fits the engine you are planning to build, not what everyone else runs.

If you are driving the car get a performance cam and  lifters, you could probably get one for 200 or less. :Twocents:

:iagree:  plus the fact that getting the plug wires to the plugs looks like crap, and headers leak, and then there is the ground clearance issue....

I have none of those problems.

Be on the look out for some used Schumacher headers. New ones are expensive. The fit is incredible and they don't capture the starter.
