I've seen several threads that discuss rebuilding a TRW or a Saginaw pump, and how to tell the three styles apart, but can somebody tell me about a source for ordering a rebuild kit for the Federal pump? My '68 Charger is leaking around the main housing o-ring. I would think it would be an easy fix, if I had the parts. Right?

If that's all that's wrong with the pump you might try some miracle-in-a-bottle. The Lucas Power Steering Leak Stop has cured two reservoir leaks for me.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

Thank you- I did already try that. This seal must just be too far gone...

Hi, I rebuild in my 68, same yours, reservoir leak. I purchase a o-ring OD 4 5/8, ID 4 3/8 W 1/8 with good result.
Look here https://www.sealingdevices.com/o-rings-size-chart O-ring 2-245
Mine is a TRW

Q5XX29, even if you need to rebuild, it's not a complicated process. Removing the pulley will require a specialized puller available via your local auto parts store. Most offer as a loaner with a credit card deposit.
The rebuilding kits are listed on E-bay and work well. The most challenging task on rebuilding the Federal pumps is aligning the rotor pin within indexed key of the body while keeping all the needle bearings in their positions. The kit I obtained had decent instructions, and with the FSM, everything went well.
