Taillight Seal

Can anyone tell me how to properly seal taillights on a '69 Charger.  I installed them with the seals (foam) that came in the kit, but they do not keep water out.

There are two sets of seals (and Charger Specialties only makes one of them). There is the available lense to housing seal and then there is a seal between the housing and the body of the car. I used peel and stick rubber weatherstrip to seal mine. You may be able to get the foam seal in some of the paint gasket kits out there (I seem to remember seeing it it someones kit not long ago).

Do the foam seals keep water out?

Yes. Thats where my car was leaking.
