Where are the wheels?

Is there a reason why the wheels seem so far inboard?

That's just what funny cars look like-  A dragster under a shell. There's probably some technical aerodynamic reason, I'm sure.  :scratchchin:

Not like you would want big long axles twisty axles either.

Maybe the additional chassis structure it would take to spread the wheels farther apart is more extra weight than it's worth. 



I have never understood what the huge appeal of funnycars is.  Even the old 1960s floppers.  It's interesting vehicle but it's not a car.  It's a rail dragster with some aero mods.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)
