Hello all,

I got in my 73 charger earlier on started it up, checked fluid levels all seemed great, took it for a drive but by the time I got to the end of the road, about 1 min drive at 20mph smoke was pouring out the hood everywhere smelt really bad aswell and noticed a nice trail of fluid following me, pulled over popped the hood and couldn't see anything smoking really bad by this point smoke faded and straight away usage trans fluid pouring out of the top of the dipstick?! I'm not sure why it done it the level was just under spot on earlier when I checked before it started smoking it was having trouble changing gear felt as if it didn't want to go into second, long story short is that it's low on fluid now and my road looks like a murder scene, scared of putting fluid in it incase it pukes again, any advice?
