Yup, I'm hard pressed to drive each car once every 2 weeks...really closer to once a month. Might be time to sell one and buy a hellcat/scatpack challanger

I'd bet you will get more than that on eBay. Especially with the four speed now.
68 Charger R/t white with black v/t and red tailstripe. 440 4 speed ,black interior
68 383 auto with a/c and power windows. Now 440 4 speed jj1 gold black interior .
My Charger is a hybrid car, it burns gas and rubber............

Best thing to do to see how much cars go for in similar condition to yours is to sell her on eBay.25k seems low to me as I haven't really seen a nice driver with 4 speed going for that money. You guys might not pay that cash but some like me would, who's dream is to have a 4 speed '68-69 charger.I bet an international seller will take her for a lot more.
Put her up on eBay with 30k reserve and see what will happen.
Good luck!

I thought you didn't have time to drive more than one car?

Good Idea on Ebay...I don't HAVE to sell so will ask a good starting price

Truth be told the Mrs doesn't like to drive around without A/C, wasn't a problem in Alaska...a little more here in Fl, one reason the cars rarely move. A new car will have that and I can retrofit the '72 at some point

Hagerty and Nada guides track registered auction sales as part of their business, with an emphasis more on the collector market.

The stumbling block when using their online valuation tools, is an accurate assessment of vehicle "condition" ?
Be honest about the Vehicle for best results.

Just want I was looking for!
$35K Good
$24K Fair

so a fair/good around $30K

70's are getting harder to find. I thought $25K a safe starting point. (No details) Add in a '70, 4 spd, not green....
Should be better. If you're going into the eBay ring factor in the chachi factor. If you really want to capitalize, as mentioned, wait for an overseas buyer. They got the coin. Sad to see another go. Nice car.

Thanks for the kind words Sir...this site is littered with picture of this thing...usually in various states of disrepair.

But ya' know what, after thinking of the little things I'll need to fix if I'm going to be asking serious $$ I thought...Screw it, I'll just fix those little things and keep it...I'll just do what the guy below did to keep the Mrs happy

cavemanno1

I'd still put her up on eBay to get an answer to your question!Just put 35-40k as reserve or whatever amount you would be happy to see her go and see what happens! If someone buys it for 35k and you are happy with it sell it,if not just keep her!
I don't think 25k is a fair amount for a nice driver.Just think about what it would take to bring the car up to that level from let's say with just quarter skin replacement and new interior, engine work.I know you can get in deep trouble doing a project car.
If this car would need let's say just paint and interior still would go for 15-18k and for 10k extra you won't get a paint job and interior.

Go to this German site(mobile.de) and see how much these cars go for here. You will be amazed as how much they are asking for second gen chargers here!

By the sound of it you are not to happy to drive her and don't enjoy her much as you would drive her more often. If this is a case why not sell her and get a hellcat!
But think about what it would cost you to get an similar car again, bet won't be 25-30k.

Good luck!

AKcharger

Hmmm, well I'll have to look and see if I'll have to pay eve if it doesn't sell. If It's free I might just do that  :popcrn:
