Has anyone bought a set of wheel opening trim for a 71-72 charger? It looks like you can get a set from classic industries but they do not have any real pictures of the actual part. I'm suspicious that the ones they are selling are not chrome anodized like they are supposed to be. I think there must be only one place making them because I can't find them anywhere else.

I bought mine from Laysons about a year ago. I thought they were fine.

We're they chrome appearing and not a dull finish?

Our 71-72 Charger wheel opening moldings are anodized aluminum just as the factory originals were.

I bought mine through Layson's and they are exactly the same finish as the originals!  I have an NOS on the right rear and one from Layson's on the left rear, can't tell the difference.  I'd buy the ones without the pre-drilled screw holes though, the pre drilled never match up exactly.

Well this is excellent info! Just what I was looking for. I will be ordering a set

I see a '74 pictured in your avatar.  You are probably already aware that '73/4 wheel opening mldgs are different from '71/2.  Just in case you were buying them for that car.
I'd hate to see you spend the money and be disappointed.
